About Me

I've been working as a producer in London since 2016, but life in the world of film and TV started for me at a very young age. My father worked as a freelance sound engineer for many years, and brought me to my first film set when I was six months old. Between the ages of 12 and 22 I could normally be found at events or family gatherings with one eye firmly glued to the video camera, determined to document everything and share it with others. Through my mother and sister I also found a huge amount of joy in acting and musical theatre, writing, performing and filming various shows throughout my teens and early twenties.

During university I followed Dad's footsteps into outside broadcasting, working as a freelance EVS operator on evenings and weekends for sporting events all around Ireland. During that time I also took up sport, playing Ultimate Frisbee at college and club level and spending untold time after tournaments editing and sharing the photos and many hours of video footage I captured from the sidelines.
After earning my undergraduate in engineering I moved to the UK and tried my hand at that profession, but being so close to London I was once again drawn into the world of film. So in 2015 I packed in my graduate job, took a 50% pay cut and started my professional life over again as a runner at a Soho post house. From there, I worked my way up into production, ending up as a Senior Producer with Fifty Fifty.

Today I operate as a freelance post production supervisor via Flying Fox, helping productions to edit, finish and deliver high end documentary series and features to broadcasters, distributors and streamers.
The combination of my technical education and my grounding in the creativity of film and theatre from a young age is my biggest asset in my work. I have the ability to conceive and pursue beautiful stories and concepts, and simultaneously understand and run the complex projects and workflows required to deliver them successfully and on budget.
